Summary

10 month contract to start with very strong possibility of extension

As a member of the Global Security Administration Team, the candidate will be responsible for contributing to initiatives that address firm-wide security control functions for Privileged Access Administration as well as stakeholder exception management. The candidate must be at ease working in an environment where the team is globally distributed across multiple time-zones, and well versed in inter-cultural communications.

Expectations

Reporting to the Global Operations Manager, the successful candidate will possess a strong sense of ownership in the areas of customer satisfaction, operational excellence, service improvement, and small scale project.

The candidate will be expected to follow the team’s Operating Principles, while carrying out the following day-to-day responsibilities:

- Support the Security Administration Hotline, a customer facing phone line for Security Administration related requests and issues.

- Process work requests by monitoring and maintaining work queues.

- Follow documented procedures in the handling of customer requests as well as contribute to, and improve documentation.

- Interpret customer requests, validate that approval processes are followed, track and report on privileged access and exception grants, revokes and suspensions.

- Assist clients with questions on supported services.

- Assist in gathering data for metrics and reports when necessary.

- Initiate incident communications.

- Manage incidents and/or assist in incident management.

- Participate Privileged Access Management Project by conducting service onboarding and operational handoff processes.

Qualifications

Skills required:

- Excellent verbal and written communication

- General IT Security knowledge

- IT Security best practice application

- Risk management, including knowledge of least privilege and segregation of duties

- UNIX and Windows platform support

- Knowledge of access control / user account management (e.g. AD/LDAP)

- An understanding of access control models like role-based access and rule-based access controls

- Familiarity with reporting and metric methodology (both creation and interpretation)

Skills Desired

- Scripting experience (e.g. Javascript, Perl, PowerShell, Python)

- DB experience (e.g. Sybase) and knowledge is a plus
