Description

In this role, you will be working with the development team to provide in-depth QA coverage on WSOP’s Web (Facebook and Canvas) platform. You will also be building checklists/Tests cases and will play an active role in the QA processes and tools creation. Successful candidates will be in charge of systems performance and compatibility analysis, validating integrated features and defects prevention coverage.

Responsibilities:

Analysis

• Create and maintain test plans covering the product's many features and functionalities. Identify edge cases and populate said test plans accordingly

• Build, Identify and document tools necessary for optimized QA Coverage completion

• Play an active role toward automated tests integration initiative and maintenance

• To help on supporting the team’s evolvement, organize training sessions so the necessary knowledge is shared

Validation

• Perform Integration Testing and participate to the QA Validation coverage

• Track, isolate and document defects found during tests sessions

• Ensure proper Browsers support coverage and maintain related compatibility matrix

• Using the proper debugging and logging tools, help on identifying root causes of defects.

Live Operation and Monitoring

• Monitor build (updates and patches) deployments

• Monitor Live Operation activities

• Investigate varuous customers reported issues

Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of software Quality Assurance experience with Web and social platforms (Facebook and Canvas)

• Strong English and French written and verbal communication skills

• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javacript (ECMA6).

• Being familiar with Client/Server communication protocols (http / websocket)

• Experience with browsers compatibility testing and analysis.

• Experience with browser debugging tools (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer and Edge)

• Solid knowledge of Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Experience with Client/Server architecture testing and analysis

• Team player, listener and pro-active by nature

• Self-motivated learner and creative thinker

• Dynamic, autonomous and results-oriented

• Strong analytical skills

Desirable experience:

• Experience with Bugs repository interfaces (JIRA)

• Knowledge of the Agile development methodology

• Experience using tools, interfaces and services such as, MySQL Workbench, PuTTy, Graylog, AWS, Hosted Graphite Portal, RightScale, Charles, Fiddler, DynamoDB, Redshift, XCode, DDMS, SourceTree, Gitlab, TeamCity, BuildStudio, CRM Tools, etc...

• Passionate about videogames (mobile, web and social gaming)

• Experience in Poker, casino or casual games development

• Prior experience using Continuous Integration
