Description

The Booker team is responsible for bridging the gap between the front office sales and trading systems and the back office. We control the middleware layer, which connects these environments together, ensuring that the messages are written to the databases and other downstream processing for books and records, regulatory reporting, trade reporting and client reporting. We are looking for integration engineer who will work closely with various business desks/operations, front office, database administrators and reporting groups to facilitate new business onboarding. The candidate will also have creative opportunities to streamline existing functionality and introduce enhancements to the core system.

Level of experience: 3-5 years in IT

Technical Skills Required:

Linux/Unix, Perl and/or shell scripting

Technical Skills Desired:

FIX, understanding of the Equity trade lifecycle, SQL (Sybase/DB2), distributed programming experience utilizing C++ or Java, experience with high-volume applications
