Information on Division/Hiring Department/Career Opportunity:

The Channel Compensation Inquiry Team is responsible for investigating dealer compensation related discrepancies for all lines of business. They assist in determining the root cause of payment discrepancies and assist with executing system enhancements to reduce overall discrepancies. They also implement solutions to decrease the turn around time of investigations, create compensation related training for External Channels, ensure that the Channel Partners have adequate compensation related communications.

This position is for a 12 month contract term with the possibility of extension, dependent on business needs.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

Reporting to the Manager of External Channel Compensation, the Channel Compensation Inquiry Analyst’s responsibilities are to investigate payment discrepancies for Dealer Channels for all lines of business through various provisioning systems including Intermediate Excel, Ensemble, SAP, TrueComp etc.

The individual will be responsible for all Channel Compensation Inquiry Analyst duties included but not limited to:

  • Generate payment adjustments for valid inquiries
  • Communicate in writing the detailed results of investigation to the Dealer
  • Assist with determining root cause of payment discrepancies
  • Upfront payment validations
  • Manage and maintain various mailboxes
  • Assist leader and specialists with streamlining of all departmental process and procedure
  • Providing valuable feedback to reduce incoming inquiries
  • Providing in depth responses to dealers regarding invalid inquiries in order to increase validity of first time inquiry submissions
  • Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Knowledge of telecommunication Client Care systems and business policies a plus
  • Bilingual (French/English) spoken as well as written would be an asset
  • The individual must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong investigation and deep researching skills are essential
  • Duties are to be completed in an efficient and professional manner at all times
  • Excellent attention to accuracy and detail and ability to interpret legal contracts
  • Organized team-player with ability to work well under time pressure, meet tight deadlines and deal effectively under stress
  • Experience dealing with confidential information
