Description

The duties and responsibilities associated with this position would equate more with the role of Internal Auditor in standard industry definitions. This position’s role is to plan, execute and draft reports for operational audits under the supervision of Senior Managers and/or Director – Internal Audit.

Previous audit experience (internal or external) is a definite attribute as the successful candidate must have a sound understanding of the concepts of risk evaluation, risk mitigation through internal controls and process deficiencies.

The critical competency that the successful candidate must possess is the ability to efficiently and effectively interpret and succinctly summarize information from multiple sources, in order to draw valid conclusions to determine the next steps and/or questions necessary to advance the audit, and define any audit issues identified during testing. The successful candidate must also possess impeccable judgement and the ability to effectively prioritize, manage and complete multiple tasks within pre-defined timelines.

It is essential that the successful candidate posses the following qualities:

Preference is for Montreal location (Verdun Campus). However open to the Mississauga location (Creekbank Campus)
