Specialist, Employee Sales Training

Trainer required to help deliver in-store training in the Montreal area

Position Description: Bell is looking for an Employee Sales Training Specialist in order to facilitate training in field sales and under the retail banners. The Sales Trainer will hold in class session as well as facilitate training in store in order to provide support and coaching. The position will require employees that are flexible in hours of operation and are willing to put the time into the job to provide our customers with top quality service.

Job duties / Accountabilities:

  • Consistently hold up-to-date knowledge of all BRS Products and services, pricing and offers, systems and processes for both Retail & Field Sales channels.
  • Deliver training to new and existing Bell Store, The Source, Glentel & Bell Authorized Agents.
  • Collaborate with Stores, Dealers, Field Sales Teams and Sales and Marketing teams to provide the best In Store training experience; this would be the desired end state, with key emphasis on the design of the training materials
  • Monitor and evaluate quality standards within the Retail & Field Sales Channels.
  • Regularly audit internal and vendor processes to ensure adherence to channel expectations.
  • Develop strong partnership with the business partners in order to develop a solid understanding of the business; seeks to understand business trends so that effective recommendations on training design correspond with business direction
  • Recommends evaluation criteria and measures
  • Facilitate training during various store meetings, in-class sessions and one-to-one sessions.
  • Tracking sales results based on previous store visits to gauge personal achievement
  • Developing post mortems to share with Senior management relating to hype activities, offers or sales programs
  • Ad hoc requests where required.
  • Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Bilingual in English and French, mandatory
  • Must have a valid driver license and vehicle
  • Strong leadership, training and coaching skills
  • The ability to effectively handle multiple, high priority tasks, at the same time
  • Strong and confident, an independent thinker
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop an environment which inspires employee involvement and teamwork
  • PC Proficient - MS Office, Windows environment
  • Sales experience is considered an asset
  • Strong decision making, problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - someone who thrives in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Bell's ordering, installation and billing systems and processes.
  • Telecommunications industry experience is an asset
