The Program Manager – Strategic Fibre Projects is responsible for creating and executing strategies and process enhancements for both internal and external partners that deliver the required inputs for Bell’s Fibre to the Home network expansion.

Job Summary:

  • The Program Manager – Strategic Fibre Projects is responsible for creating and executing strategies and process enhancements for both internal and external partners that deliver the required inputs for Bell’s Fibre to the Home network expansion.
  • Use provided and created reports to identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvements and/or requirements for process adherence.
  • Coordinate across multiple internal and external teams to deliver requirements to launch new strategies
  • Create training documents and deliver to key stakeholders via phone, face to face meetings or live action with customers
  • Work with other functional teams to access and understand data and analyze it to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Determine quality of data, and draw conclusions on validity of data
  • Job duties / Accountabilities:

    The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the following:

  • Understanding the crucial items/metrics the drive results for each program
  • Gather data from various sources, analyze data, and with the findings, create reports/presentations to identify key actions required
  • Demonstrating strong knowledge of cost vs benefits by program when suggesting new strategies
  • Providing weekly results and actions required to key stakeholders
  • Managing key systems such as Salesforce.com to ensure user accessibility and alignment to proper process
  • Attending and leading out of the office training sessions
  • Supporting front line agents with real time support of system or process questions
  • Providing analytical support for execution, tracking and reporting of project deliverables
  • Supporting the team on other priorities as required
  • Identifying drivers that positively / negatively affect the data
  • Working with process Subject Matter Experts from each functional team
  • Assisting in designing insightful report views (excel-based or tool-based or dashboards)
  • Providing regular and ad-hoc results interpretation to management as requested
  • Performing proactive analysis, utilize data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Working with other teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve performance results in accordance with contractual agreements between Bell and its Vendors
  • Essential skills / Competencies:

  • University degree
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Previous experience analyzing data and presenting results in a clear, concise and actionable mannor
  • Strong interpersonal skills – someone who enjoys having fun in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex and fast paced environment
  • Strong problem solving skills, ability to translate quantitative data into qualitative analysis
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • PC Proficient – MS Office, Windows environment
  • Preferred skills / Competencies:

  • Previous project management experience
  • MS Access skills – ability to build and modify Access Databases
  • Sound Knowledge/experience of telecommunication network design and services
  • Personal automobile – ability to conduct field training and audits
