The Bell Canada / BCE Controllers group is divided into 4 core areas: Corporate Bell and BCE, Controls & Compliance, Accounting Services and Business Unit Controllers. The Business Unit Controllers team is seeking a highly motivated Administrative Assistant to support the Controllers organization. This position is a challenging opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast pace areas of the business.

The Administrative Assistant will support five Directors and will assume responsibility for most administrative aspects of the teams. This position will require a motivated individual who is a self starter. The individual should be highly organized and be able to juggle multiple tasks and be able to prioritize.

JOB DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing the day to day calendars of the Directors
  • Providing support for tracking of team changes including new hires, transfers and leaves
  • Maintaining vacation records of the teams
  • Maintaining office supplies
  • Arranging and organizing travel, expense reports etc,
  • Assisting in organizing meetings, scheduling, reserving conference rooms etc.
  • Assisting in the maintenance of documents (archiving, printing, etc)
  • Various other support as required
  • CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES

  • Highly resourceful; self starter
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Able to prioritize
  • Must be a team player with superior interpersonal skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of SAP
