Description

This position is required within the Bell Mobility RF Engineering & Network Performance group responsible for providing wireless service to areas in Canada. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager – In Building Engineering & Operations – Access Network, and will be responsible for the program/project management and successful implementation of InBuilding DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) projects. The selected candidate will work closely with various teams and stakeholders within Wireless Network Operations at Bell Mobility and with key customer stakeholders.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Program and project delivery point of contact for the customer and responsible for the customer experience through a high level of engagement
  • Regularly communicate with all stakeholders, including on-site touchpoints at customer locations
  • Lead regular project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and support project delivery
  • Understand project objectives in order to identify and manage risks
  • Make and keep commitments on customer delivery dates
  • Resolve issues at the appropriate levels within Bell and customer to keep delivery on track
  • Development of program and project plan
  • Tracking and reporting of program and project status, targets and risks
  • The successful candidate should possess:

  • 5+ years experience as a Project Manager, preferably specializing in the implementation of InBuilding (DAS) Distributed Antenna Systems (PMP certification is a strong asset)
  • A degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience in the wireless telecommunications industry in Canada
  • Experience working with large Enterprise Customers and ability to manage customer facing challenges
  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Ability to plan and manage a projects
  • Familiar with the usual office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Work Conditions:

  • This position is based in Ottawa, and will require travel to various office locations within the Ottawa area
