The eLearning Design Specialist will be immediately responsible for developing and updating eLearning content. This role collaborates directly with senior leadership, subject matter experts and project managers and to support the training needs of Virgin Mobile's channel partners. They will be actively involved in the complete training cycle, from needs analysis through to post implementation evaluation and change. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the training and development field.

As the eLearning Design Specialist for Virgin Mobile retail channels, your key responsibilities will include...

Development

  • Create detailed topic outlines based on input from project teams and SMEs.
  • Build the performance and learning objectives required to achieve business goals.
  • Outline clear and concise key learning points to support training objectives.
  • Support the project management process from intake to close.
  • Use survey results to adapt and improve training.
  • Explore new ways of designing eLearning that drives engagement and delivers against the brand values.
  • Design

  • Leverage the brand guidelines to build eLearning for multiple sales channels.
  • Create reinforcement, quiz and exam questions, and surveys.
  • Design graphics to support learning content.
  • Write on-brand training content that’s creative, concise and clear – less is more!
  • Revise and update eLearning courses and training content as required.
  • Employ eLearning best-practices and set the standard for delivering a best-in-class experience.
  • Maintenance

  • Assist in managing the eLearning course and content library to ensure it is accurate and complete.
  • Support the training mailbox and LMS troubleshooting requests.
  • Gather survey results and present key findings.
  • Schedule course reporting, distribute reports and track completion.

  • Excellent writing, editing, verbal and instructional design skills.
  • Ability to manage the entire lifecycle from planning, development, storyboarding, designing, editing, and deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of eLearning development tools such as Articulate 360
  • Solid understanding of technology with regard to eLearning
  • A bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Technical Writing, Industrial Psychology or equivalent work experience.
  • Adult Education certification, and experience developing online learning and/or training for adults.
  • Background in graphic design, experience using Adobe Creative Suite and an aptitude for design and layout principles
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment with demanding deadlines
