The Finance and Supply Fulfillment Systems Delivery district is a fast-paced and dynamic team within the Information Technology organization. The team’s mandate is to work with Bell corporate stakeholders and technology partners to deliver solutions that leverage Bell’s significant investment in its strategic IT platforms. The team consists of Project Managers and Business Analysts that focus primarily on the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ECC) and SAP BI (Reporting BW) systems. The team’s primary business focus areas are Finance, Supply Chain, Sales Order Processing and Project Systems.
This position focuses in the area of Finance – Asset Accounting, specifically around projects and activities related to the identification and implementation of system changes required to support introduction of a new IFRS16 leasing standard using SAP REM. Other project work may be added as appropriate.
Job Duties / Accountabilities:
Responsible for gathering and documenting the business requirements and then ensuring that the deliverables produced by the development effort conform to the business requirements
Participate in the integration testing and user acceptance testing process, including preparation of acceptance criteria, review of the test plans and scenarios, review of test results as well as taking responsibility for end to end testing
Reviewing key development and design deliverables, including interface specifications, integration requirements, data schemas, and design documentation, as well as the business’s implementation and conversion strategies and plans
Contributing to the project planning and administration - assists in developing the project charter documentation, including helping with the high-level plan, the feasibility analysis, and in developing the business case
Co-ordinates the project by arranging project meetings, following up on issues and sign-offs, producing status documentation and meeting minutes and informing team members of decisions made
Essential Skills / Competencies:
3 - 5 years working with SAP in a Senior BA role or Developer capacity, working with the MM, CO, and AA modules
3 –5 years in a Business Analysis role in Finance/Accounting with leadership experience defining requirements and solutions related to financial processes and concepts
Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders in the creation of end to end solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio)
Knowledge of project delivery methodology and best practices
Critical Qualifications / Competencies specific to SAP and/or Finance processes:
Good understanding of FI/CO and how actuals are posted
Good understanding of Project Systems – Network to WBS relationship
Basic understanding of Material Ordering using components on a network
Understanding of settlement processes (both PS and IO) and integration with AA
Good understanding on asset structures and impacts to depreciation
Clear understanding of standard asset lifecycles and impacts to P&L for following:
Knowledge of the PM Loader programs and integration with MM, PM, PS and AA
Good receipts
Goods issues
Invoice receipts
Including knowledge of settlement structures and use of GLs
Settlement rules
Chart of depreciation
Depreciation keys

Critical Qualifications / Competencies:
Familiarity with telecommunications industry accounting practices and Billing/Finance Systems would be an asset
Post secondary degree with a business or IT focus, or equivalent
Knowledge and experience with SAP ECC Financials and SAP BI Financial Reporting functionality and its implementation

This is full-time Bell office on-site position (teleworking occasional)
Job location (city): Mississauga (Creekbank) - Preferred, Montreal (Nun’s Island), or Ottawa
Available to work occasional weekends and evenings to meet hard deadlines
Occasional travel in support of project delivery work
