The MDU Sales team is being expanded to support the significant focus on growing our market share in Toronto. This team requires an individual to be business savvy, customer oriented and willing to go the extra mile to close the sale.

Job Description:

Bell Residential Services is presently recruiting for the position of Business Development Representative. The candidate will build relationships and negotiate marketing agreements with residential condo corporations, property management companies and rental MDU landlords in the Ontario Region.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Negotiate Bell Marketing agreements with condo boards and property management companies within assigned territories in order to exceed sales targets
  • Conduct formal and informal presentations to condo residents, board directors, and senior managers
  • Manage the end-to-end building marketing arrangement with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and develop long-standing partnerships
  • Identify, negotiate and execute sales strategies and tactics in order to support field sales team in acquiring new Bell residential customers
  • Additional responsibilities as required
  • Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Minimum 2 years work experience in Business Development/Account Management/Sales
  • Strong sales skills, particularly in prospecting, cold calling, relationship development, funnel management. (needs to maintain good relationships with of their accounts/ presentations at condo board meetings/meetings w/ property managers/ onsite with managers to monitor rates/ ongoing relationships with managers.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident presentation style with ability to connect to diverse audiences
  • Valid Driver’s licence and daily access to a vehicle
  • Primary residence in GTA - based out of North York office with regular client meetings
  • Schedule flexibility – occasional attendance at evening condo board meetings, attendance at in-building selling events.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products including Word and Excel software
  • Experience in the residential condo or rental market is an asset
