Manager's notes: Flexible to work from home? - Unfortunately not possible.

As the job is a Retail Coach, they will be working in the Retail store 4 days a week. The 5th day would be spent at the Duke Street office attending meetings and preparing coach logs and coaching plans for the following week.

Work Hours - Ideally the candidate would be working Tuesday – Saturday. Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday would be more of a 9am to 5pm shift. Fridays we would like the Trainer in the store during the evening portion (11am to 7pm) and Saturdays during the peak busy hours (10-6). We are flexible on this one however.

Projects candidate will be working on - They will be working in 1-2 Retail stores helping to coach and Train sales reps on how to properly position Bell home services. They will be coaching to product, sales skills, order entry and promotions/pricing.

Top 3 skill sets - Understanding of Retail environment, Sales DNA and ability to coach/influence for results.

Bell is looking for an Employee Sales Training Specialist in order to facilitate training in one of our retail banners. The Sales Trainer will hold in class session as well as facilitate training in store in order to provide support and coaching. The position will require employees that are flexible in hours of operation and are willing to put the time into the job to provide our customers with top quality service.

Job duties / Accountabilities:

As a BRS Sales Coach, the successful incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of leading and managing a BRS Sales Associate team by achieving BRS sales targets and driving sales, providing leadership to employees, and managing BRS team operations.

  • Achieve the store sales targets for Bell Residential Services (Internet & TV).
  • Oversee and coach a team of approximately 7-10 employees; ensuring regular coaching is provided to maximize productivity and BRS offers.
  • Drive the acquisition and retention of high value clients by ensuring the team executes on company selling and service standards.
  • Ensure execution of client service protocol within the store including client care and product care.
  • Drive incremental sales volume through local marketing programs and store events.
  • Keep self and team up-to-date on policies and procedures, and industry knowledge.
  • Collaborate with peers and Sales and Marketing teams to provide the best In Store training experience; this would be the desired end state, with key emphasis on the design of the training materials
  • Develop strong partnership with the business partners in order to develop a solid understanding of the business; seeks to understand business trends so that effective recommendations on training design correspond with business direction
  • Recommends evaluation criteria and measures
  • Facilitate training during various store meetings, in-class sessions and one-to-one sessions.
  • Ad hoc requests where required.
  • Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Bilingual in English and French, mandatory
  • Strong interpersonal skills - someone who thrives in a fast paced environment.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years retail management experience, preferably in the personal electronics and/or telecommunications industry.
  • Must have a valid driver license and vehicle possess flexibility to travel within the province designated assigned region.
