Bell Media is seeking a Database Administrator to work with our existing team of developers to maintain the performance and integrity of existing Microsoft SQL Server databases.

This position includes the design and implementation of new databases as well as the modernization of existing systems. The development team at Bell Media works very closely with its clients (including CTV News and TSN) to provide solutions in a quickly changing environment. Our systems are used by hundreds of users across Canada to gather and distribute news and sports content.

The successful candidate would work closely with other broadcast professionals to build systems that will transform the television industry.

Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server

Experience with the design and maintenance of database hardware, including OS and storage

The ability to set up and maintain data backup and recovery

Experience with database capacity planning

The ability to manage several projects simultaneously

Experience working with video systems would be an asset
