    Network team plans, designs, builds, and operates Bell’s multi-billion dollar broadcast, fiber, LTE, and security networks. Successful candidates joining the Network team will be given the opportunity to get hands on experience using next generation technology.

    Description of Hiring Team:

    The National Hosting Service team is responsible for Bell’s Data Centre products and services. Candidates should have the ability to understand customer needs and propose solutions, be able to work in an agile environment and be interested in solving complex business problems.

    Position Description:

    Reporting to the Senior Manager, Service Management – the successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day oversight & governance of the Change Management process for the National Hosting Services team. They will also be accountable for providing Change related metrics for KPI reporting purposes and sending customer facing maintenance communications.

    Job Duties / Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the facilitation of the overall Change Management process.
  • Accountable for reviewing, assessing and scheduling change activities.
  • Accountable for performing risk and impact assessment of all change activities.
  • Authorizes and approves maintenance activities for the National Hosting Services team.
  • Ensures that all activities designed to implement changes are as per the standards outlined in Change Management policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates and conducts weekly Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
  • Manages change tickets in the ITSM ticketing system.
  • Gathers metrics for weekly KPI reporting.
  • Critical Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Change Coordination role.
  • A post-secondary diploma or degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional experience in IT, preferably in an IT Operations or a Data Centre environment.
  • Prior experience with ITSM based tools, such as Jira Service Desk or ServiceNow.
  • ITIL Foundations certification would be an asset.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
  • Organized individual with an ability to prioritize multiple priorities in a fast paced and changing environment.
