This role provides an opportunity to work in an engaging, dynamic and fast paced environment. The successful candidate will play an integral part of the Finance Team in Vancouver, reporting to the Senior Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
Implement the company’s credit policies and procedures within the daily operations of the local market (administer and approve customer credit applications, maintain credit files, prepare and submit collection accounts, etc)Prepare bank depositsCode and prepare weekly cash receipt entriesProcess TV credit card paymentsPrint/Mail/Email monthly TV invoices and statementsProcess local TV digital invoicing and maintain tracking logProcess AR adjustments & manual/proforma invoice requests, as necessaryAct as primary liaison with clients for TV invoicing, collections and general billing support Prepare monthly and quarterly AR account reconciliations Maintain aging reports, highlighting 60-90 day accounts for reviewLiaise with sales department on aging status of client accounts and billing related mattersAct as backup relief for the local Radio Accounts Receivable CoordinatorSpecial projects on an ad hoc basis Critical Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant Accounts Receivable experienceMust be an independent self-starter and a team playerDemonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of issues and see through to resolutionExcellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to articulate views convincinglyConfident in dealing with multiple stakeholders both within and outside the organizationAbility to work well under pressure in a highly transactional environmentDemonstrate meticulous attention to detailProficient with standard Microsoft Office products, particularly ExcelPreferred Qualifications:
Broadcast Media experience would be an assetWorking knowledge of SAP, IBMS & Wide-Orbit softwarePost secondary education in a certificate, diploma or degree program
