The Mobility Business Marketing team is responsible for the end-to-end analysis, development and implementation of marketing programs aimed at generating demand with new and existing customers for new and existing products and solutions within Bell’s dynamic and growing business portfolio. This role has a specific focus on Medium and Enterprise segments and the Internet of Things (IoT) portfolio in addition to other next generation business services.
The team is growing and currently seeking a highly motivated, results driven and execution excellence Specialist. Supported by the Senior Manager, Event Marketing, this position provides an excellent opportunity to work in a high profile, dynamic and challenging environment tasked with exponential growth. The selected candidate will plan multi – tactic demand generation event programs plus event execution for client facing events.
Core responsibilities
Develop event marketing campaigns that drive awareness and generate demand. Event campaigns are either a Bell hosted seminar or sponsored industry event.
Event strategy
Research industry events to determine opportunities for Bell to participateDevelop the promotional strategy leading up to the eventDrive attendance to the eventDesign content outline for speaking engagementsDetermine what will make the event engaging and what format is best suitedMonitor and understand KPIs to understand event campaign performance and take short and long term actions to improve performance Event execution:
Develop budgets, WBS and production schedulesOnsite execution at events across CanadaSource and manage AV requirementsSource venues and manage F&B requirementsUnderstand of standard rates for venues, F&B and AV costs Post event evaluation:
Develop post mortem reports for Director and VP reviewWork cross functionally with sales reps and partners to report results Work cross functionally with:
Marketing communications, acquisition marketing, business analytics, sales teams and external vendors and agencies Critical Qualifications:
5+ year’s event marketing experience (within telecommunications and IoT is an asset)Event planning and executionStrong business acumen, with an appreciation for the need to analyze information, determine what it means for the business and quickly execute in an ever-evolving competitive environmentSolid Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, and an ability to use both mediums to tell concise, actionable stories to all levels of the organization (channel agents and executives)Working knowledge of Salesforce.com (is an asset)Ability to draft program and marketing briefs in a clear and articulate mannerDemonstrated knowledge of marketing across all media typesExcellent oral, written and presentation skills (French an asset)Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage change in a fast paced environmentEstablish & maintain effective relationships with cross-functional teamsExcellent time management and organizational skills; Ability to manage multiple projects at the same timeHave a passion for success and results orientedAttention to detailCustomer focused, team player, innovative and self-motivatedAbility to travel within CanadaMust have a valid driver’s license and able to rent carsWork Address Details 5115 Creekbank Rd, Building E, 2nd Floor
