Description

Performs the detailed design of application and technical architecture components following Application development standards established for the project.

Works with other developers, designers, and architects to make sure that the configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals.

Follows good security coding practices to ensure the application is free of most common coding vulnerabilities. Performs unit test in order to ensure a good level of quality.

Participates in code reviews.

Participates to the transition of the application or technical architecture components with the testers.

Fixes any defect and performance problems discovered in testing. Documents the application to facilitate maintenance.

5 to 10 years of experience

• Knowledge of ETL jobs development (DataStage)

• Experience with handling and using databases (Oracle)

• Knowledge of micro-services and APIs;

• Knowledge of software development, source code management and DevOps tools (Jenkins, git-Bitbucket, Nexus, Docker, etc.);

• Knowledge of the software development life cycle and Agile methodology;

• Development experience within teams following DevOps best practices and continuous integration;
