Department: Capital Management

Design the detailed applications and technical architecture components following the application development standards established for the project.

Work in collaboration with other developers, designers and architects to ensure that the custom configuration and components meet application requirements and performance objectives.

Follow good programming security practices to ensure that applications are free of common programming vulnerabilities.

Conduct individual testing to ensure good quality. Participate in code reviews.

Participate in the transition of the application or technical architecture components with the testers.

Repair any defects and performance problems discovered during testing.

Document the application to facilitate maintenance. 5 to 10 years of experience

Your main challenges:

- Carry out various large-scale BI projects with a significant impact on the operational efficiency of our sector

- Understand business issues, identify the IT needs of stakeholders and propose technological solutions to support their activities.

- Develop reliable and efficient ETL flows taking into account user needs and specifications, business imperatives and established timelines

- Analyze requests for changes, assess impacts and make appropriate modifications

- Participate in the design and development of new data integration workflows for our Datamarts

- Comply with National Bank development norms and standards

- Produce and update technical documentation

- Propose solutions allowing us to be more agile and efficient in our deployments

Required Experience

- At least 5 years experience in BI / ETL solution development.

- Mastery of the Datastage tool (preferably 11.5) or equivalent ETL tool.

Language skills:

Bilingualism (spoken/written) in French (4/5) and English (4/5). Candidates who do not speak French will also be considered.

Schedule:

8 hours a day, 40 hours a week with flexible hours between 7:30 and 9:00 am.

Possibility of working remote, but in normal conditions, the candidate should be able to work at the office a few days a week.
