Description

Responsibilities:

•Define and devise testing deliverables, including test strategy, detailed test plan/approach, test cases, test results summary and defect management

•Collect testing requirements and understand expectations from delivery directors, project managers and program stakeholders

•Audit and understand the program’s testing practices

•Develop operational processes and ensure QA processes tie into technology delivery practices & standards.

•Define a multi-squad test automation strategy

•You understand how to trade-off performance and quality of output when required.

•You communicate effectively and consistently with all project team members.

•Your energy and positive mindset are contagious.

•You are a dynamic team player who fosters collaboration.

•You know your domain well and you are seen as the "go to" person for any questions related to your domain.

Requirements:

Experience:

•Minimum 7+ years’ experience in IT

•Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a QA role

•Minimum 3+ years’ experience with Test Automation

Must-Haves:

•Familiar with automated test frameworks and has hands-on experience setting up an automated test environment

•Experience with an extensive range of technologies around testing automation.

•Knowledge of modern protocols and APIs (REST/YAML etc.).

•A proven ability in clearly communicating complex solutions.

•Strong understanding of testing automation best practices

•Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak to both business and technical team as well as clearly translate ideas between them.

•Experience working in continuous delivery and continuous deployment enabled setups.

Nice to Have:

•Bilingual (written and spoken) French (5/5), English (2/5)

•Previous IT experience in the banking industry.

•Familiarity with Agile development processes such as Scrum and Kanban and frameworks such as SAFe or DAD

•Prior experience working in a fast-paced organization.

•Knowledge in integrating systems running in different environments.

•Familiarity with the Atlassian product suite such as Jira and Confluence.
