Description

Develops test procedures, test conditions, input test data, and expected results.

Develops, updates, and maintains testing standards and procedures.

Participates/performs test plans and procedures review.

Executes test procedures.

Records defects and issues in accordance with the target functional design expected.

Validates product defect correction and execute regression test as required.

Informs the test integrator of any issues that may affect the schedule or quality of the product or the testing process.

Collaborates to the test plan. 3 to 5 years of experience

Non-technical requirements

- BA/BS Computer Science or equivalent in a technical field or work experience in QA and/or automation

- Good experience and knowledge of the software life cycle (SDLC) and testing (STLC)

- Having evolved in an agile team as a manual and automation QA

- Experience in the practice of ATDD/BDD would be a considerable asset.

- Have a good ability to think critically but constructively

- Have a good background in interpersonal relations

- Have very good analytical and synthesis skills

- Have the ability to comply with the QA and automation operating framework in place and contribute to its improvement as required.

Technical Requirements

- Good knowledge of the IC/CD process

- Good knowledge of development patterns and test automation would be an asset.

- Good experience in testing web services, API and UI/UX user interface

- Good experience with web and SPA applications

- Experiences with Jira, Postman, JMeter, Jenkins, Eclipses or IntelliJ tools

- Good knowledge of RestAssured, Java, JUnit, Selenium, React

Language skills: Bilingual (spoken / written) in French (4/5) and English (4/5). No uni-lingual submissions.

Working from home: Given the current situation regarding the coronavirus, the consultant will be working from home until further notice. However, in normal times, this position offers the possibility of teleworking (25%).
