Description

Conduct gap analyses between existing programs and new program requirements and provide recommendations

Make modifications to existing SQL queries and stored procedures as needed and specified

Modify existing Unix programs (bash / Ksh / C) according to the specifications and schedules established

Ensuring the development and dissemination of systems documentation

Participate in the testing and production phases

Participate in the evolution of the accounting application base and make recommendations

Ensure the good IT hygiene of the application park under the responsibility of our sector

Provide support on applications and environments

REQUIREMENTS

Three-year college diploma in computer science or the academic equivalent and 5 years of relevant experience

High capacity for adaptation and autonomy

Advanced experience in Unix programming (bash / Ksh)

Advanced experience in SQL (Queries and stored procedures)

Experience with the C language

Experience with source code management (GIT, Bitbucket)

Experience with complex and high-volume data models

Strong analytical skills, rigour and attention to detail

Strong ability to work in a team

Good ability to propose alternative solutions

Excellent level of French (spoken and written), English not required

Assets:

Knowledge of accounting and financial concepts

Knowledge of .Net, API and Devops

Experience with Sybase

Given the current situation regarding the covid, the candidate will be on teleworking until further notice. Normally, the position offers the possibility of teleworking (1 or 2 days a week).
