What types of projects will this candidate be working on? Develop and design training material and official documents (i.e. policies, directives, standards etc.)

To recap the manager will seek for a person that has preferred experience with documentation governance, development and design training material and mastering bilingual linguistic writing and process alignment. They seek someone that has a positive, efficient way to work with others and has leadership

Interview process will include a case study exercise to seek critical thinking and strategic approach on documentation or training design

Official Documentation Practice:

  • Manage inventory all official documents across CS&R, along with their maintenance cycle
  • Review & maintain all templates to ensure they meet industry standards / best practices
  • Review all existing documents, gather requirements in a checklist format, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Review and update the publication and approval process
  • Create a common language rule book
  • Document and train Primes on all updated processes and make content accessible

Training & Awareness Practice:

  • Update inventory of all online training material across CS&R, with owner and life cycle
  • Review and update the process on how to develop & design training material, along with the validation, approval, and publication process
  • Help Primes on building a training clean-up plan
  • Support Primes throughout the creation and maintenance of their training material
  • Review and update the awareness process for internal & external audiences
  • Gather and execute on CS&R’s requirements to have an effective & efficient Learning Management System
  • Create a common language rule book
  • Document and train Primes on all updated processes and make content accessible

Critical Qualifications/Competencies

  • Education and experience in Adult Learning (content development)
  • Education and experience in designing simplified, effective and efficient e-learning training modules
  • Experience and good understanding on how Learning Management Systems (LMS) operate
  • Experience in writing official documentation (policies, directives, standards, processes, etc.)
  • Smart writing skills
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Rise or any other e-learning design application
  • Analytical and problem solving experience with attention to detail
  • Strong research and time management skills to meet deadlines & handle changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, organized and self-disciplined
  • Strategic and analytical thinking skills, including the ability to link policies and directives to training requirements to increase adherence
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey ideas and results effectively
  • Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
