    The Pricing Execution team is responsible for delivering core pricing and the full suite of competitive offers for the client's Services portfolio that form a critical part of the marketing plan. In addition, the team is responsible for multiple product and pricing deployment releases throughout the year to maintain or introduce new price plans, discounts and offers.

    The team is currently seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual to join the team. In the role, the Pricing Specialist will be responsible to validate the accuracy of pricing requirements deployed into our testing and production environments for all sales ordering tools. This individual will create test plans, conduct periodic testing, track progress of pricing deployment releases and work with IT to investigate and resolve defects found. As such, it will be essential that the successful candidate must have strong organization and communication skills as well as demonstrate an extremely high attention to detail.

    Job Duties and Accountabilities:

  • Develop test plans outlining requirements to be tested, profiles required, coordination of team accountabilities and provide completion status updates
  • Conduct user acceptance testing in pre-production environments, ultimately driving zero defects for deployment
  • Partner with IT and Marketing counterparts to identify, investigate and resolve defects
  • Continually validate changes to existing offers and products outside of scheduled IT pricing releases
  • Participate in weekly IT repeatable pricing releases to validate production deployment changes
  • Lead root-cause production defect investigations to close revenue leakage and/or implement prevention gaps
  • Maintain an ongoing log of outstanding and closed defects

  • Self-motivated and responsible
  • Extremely proficient in Excel
  • Assets:

  • Experience and knowledge of client’s ordering and billing systems
  • University degree in business or marketing or a related area or professional designation
  • Working Conditions:

  • Ability to efficiently work in virtual teams, handling multiple parallel requests and very aggressive timelines
  • Fast paced, changing working environment, interfacing with a myriad of stakeholders
  • Willing to be flexible with work hours, as the candidate will be required to start work early on release days to conclude testing before regular business
  • Available to work weekends when required for release deployments as well as occasional evenings to meet hard deadlines
