Position Description

Versatile and comfortable team player when under pressure *PM Senior

For 12 months. The person will work on at least one regulatory project (C86)

Remote until September 2020, The candidate must live in Montreal and surroundings.

French required, English an asset

With experience in a large company like PM Sr, in large projects with large budgets

Your main challenges:

  • Be responsible for the definition, planning, organization and delivery of initiatives (features) in agile mode
  • Leading complex and strategic projects involving a multitude of internal and matrix partners (multi-sector integration)
  • Be responsible for one or more initiatives including IT, organizational and operational deliverables
  • Develop a strong understanding of the business needs, specifications, issues, risks, context and components of the initiative
  • Represent the project in various governance forums with various stakeholders
  • Create and communicate follow-up reports that are tailored to the various audiences, comprehensive and demonstrate high quality and information literacy
  • Rigorously manage the scope to ensure commitments are met: on time, on budget and within quality parameters
  • Ensure that business value is always delivered in a timely manner
  • Promote appropriate solutions and make recommendations to rectify any situation that may affect the smooth running of projects.


  • Bachelor's degree related to the industry and 10 years of relevant experience or Master's degree related to the industry and 8 years of relevant experience
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in managing major IT projects
  • Experience in the banking industry is an asset
  • Experience in regulatory projects is an asset
  • Comfortable with Agile delivery
  • Ability to liaise between different stakeholders (Squad, other sectors of the NLC)
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management in a clear, concise and accurate manner both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
