CTC005970 : Consultant - Cloud Vulnerability Management

Position Description

Duration: 5 months with possibility of permanence.

Bilingualism: Bilingual mandatory. (Bilingual and English speaking team)

Maximum rate: Some flexibility. Please respect the rate grid as much as possible.

Work from home: 100% remote. Possibility of a possible presence on site next September. It is preferable to live in the province of Quebec. Otherwise, the province of Ontario.

*The resource will be required to work with the vulnerability management team.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for contextualizing, prioritizing, assigning, tracking and closing vulnerabilities with a primary focus on cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP);
  • Receive and validate results of vulnerability detection activities;
  • Contribute to the establishment of vulnerability remediation/mitigation plans;
  • Follow up on the management of vulnerabilities with stakeholders;
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements for vulnerability management;
  • Produce and ensure the quality of metrics related to vulnerability management;
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance and improvement of documentation in support of vulnerability management processes and procedures;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize vulnerability remediation.

Technical Skills:

  • Have at least 2 years of experience in vulnerability management, Threat intelligence or security incident response, or at least 5 years of IT experience.*
  • In-depth knowledge of vulnerability management, application security, cloud infrastructure*.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability scoring systems (CVSS), OWASP TOP 10, MITRE and NIST controls;
  • Hold AWS Cloud Partitioner certification a strong asset. **
  • Hold CISSP or COMPTIA Security+ certification (an asset).

Non-technical skills:

  • Demonstrate collaborative and teamwork skills;
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills (ability to influence and interact with stakeholders, manage conflict);
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical, decision making and problem solving skills;
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of initiative;
