Involved in every cycle of project delivery, The Technical Advisor is the design authority in term of hardware/software selection, application architecture, security & network requirements, specification and design review and implementation.
Working within our team on various projects, the Technical Specialist will be responsible to ensure all technical aspects are answered and addressed. Including but not limited to:
Participate in the planning and early design sessions of new project functionalityPerform impact analysis to the service assurance domain, following the implementation/introduction of a given network technologyLead the technical solution within a given project within the SA DomainDocument, deliver and implement technical user storiesPerform Code Reviews with vendors and other technical advisorsActively participate in the design and the implementation phases (including design reviews, environment setup), quantitative analysis (validation of algorithm/solution)Capacity planning and definition of the performance testing plan and oversee the execution of the performance testingDevelop, implement and review non functional, performance related requirements and tracking to produce system performance metricsEvaluate the current utilization of the systems within the user community and propose improvements to meet business needsDevelop and document new system interface agreements with new internal and external interfacesAs part of the IT delivery team, the Technical Advisor will be working on major integration initiatives in the service assurance domain
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
Training/Education
Bachelor or Master of electrical or computer engineering or computer science (preferred)Bachelor or Master in telecommunications/network engineeringEquivalent experience and / or educationSkills
