Duration: 12 months- Temp-to-perm required

Remote Work: 100% remote, until further notice but should be able to travel to the office. The candidate should live in the Montreal area.

Your main challenges :

- Be responsible and/or participate in the definition, planning, organization and delivery of initiatives (features) in agile mode

- Leading complex and strategic projects involving a multitude of internal, external and matrix partners (multi-sector integration)

- Be responsible for one or more initiatives including IT, organizational and operational deliverables

- Develop a strong understanding of the business needs, specifications, issues, risks, context and technology components of the initiative

- Rigorously manage the scope to ensure commitments are met: respecting deadlines, budget and quality parameters, rigorously monitoring interdependencies, integrations, risks and issues

- Represent the project in various governance forums with various stakeholders

- Create and communicate follow-up reports adapted to the different audiences, complete and demonstrating a high quality and control of information

- Ensure that business value is always delivered in a timely manner

- Promote appropriate solutions and make recommendations to rectify any situation that may affect the smooth running of projects.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree related to the industry and 7 years of relevant experience or Master's degree related to the industry and 6 years of relevant experience

- 7 to 12 years of experience in managing major IT projects

- Experience in development projects with a large number of technical integrations and interdependencies

- Experience in managing projects of over 4,000 days of effort

- Knowledge of modern digital platform concepts, technologies and solutions (Microservices, APIs, Real-Time Data Feeds, Orchestration, Straight Through Processing, etc.) and their application to data management

Customer

- Experience in the banking environment desirable

- Comfortable in Agile delivery mode

- Ability to make the links between the different stakeholders (Squad, other sectors of the BNC)

- Ability to communicate with all levels of management in a clear, concise and accurate manner both verbally and in writing

- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills

- Strong influencing and negotiation skills

- Versatile team player and comfortable managing multiple important files at once

- Bilingual (spoken/written) French and English.
