Description
- Languages: We need a minimum level of French and English intermediate. The person must be able to read, write and communicate in both languages without being perfectly bilingual.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will participate in the improvement and testing of IT solutions, make recommendations and provide management with the information needed to achieve quality in everything we do and find ways to break things that seem to work differently. You will act as a production steward and treat our customer experience as a sacred thing that must work perfectly every day.
Being a Quality Assurance Specialist for this customer means:
- Working closely with our agile team to bring user stories and narratives to life
- Partnering with other members of your team to quickly deliver solutions that translate business needs into technical results
- Implementing automated testing models to ensure that testing can be done quickly at scale to ensure that the highest quality code goes into production
- Constantly challenge the development team to discover defects and gaps in the developed code
Specifically, you will:
- Design testing strategies
- Establish and execute quality programs designed to ensure that all developed code is thoroughly tested on all parameters, including functional and non-functional requirements
- Work closely with Business Lines Assurance to thoroughly understand user stories and narratives, solution designs and develop test plans to aggressively exercise all permutations of the software
- Support the DevOps CI/CD pipeline to ensure code is shipped at the end of each sprint
- Ensure non-functional requirements are rigorously tested, including performance, scalability and cybersecurity for the system under the area of responsibility by working with a group of experts and applying Bank guidelines and standards.
