IMPORTANT

WFH now, then will require to come into the office ~1.5 days/wk

Day to day - Project work related to the Media IP Transformation working on NextGen network design, IP interconnection/

routing, consultancy, and implementation with technology stakeholders and product owners in Media and other parts of client. It involves participation on daily scrums, collaboration with team members to develop architecture design/documentation, as well engagement with Bell and Vendor technical teams as needed.

Qualifications - IP Data Networking with previous hands-on and design experience on Large Data Networks

Ideal candidate - Person who has performed “IP Network Architecture Design & Deployment”...preferably in Media industry

No testing in interviews

There is potential to hire full time

Network Architect with High Level Design skills and Hands-on Deployment experience of network and cloud solutions, with fluency as follows:

Data Networking including advanced Routing (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc. ) and Switching (STP, MLAG, VSS, VPC, etc.)

Broadcast Technologies, ex. PTP, SMPTE 2110, SRT Encoding, Multicasting for Audio & Video, etc.

Security (Zoning, Segmentation, Firewall, DMZ, WAF, etc.)

Cloud networks & services, ex. Hybrid Cloud, HyperScalers (AWS/GCP/Azure), CDNs

Client familiarity such as IP Core, MPLS network, BBM Transport Services, IaaS environment

Back-office system integration to internal Business Systems, including the ICN network
