  • Reporting of results, maintaining accurate, detailed and timely metrics

Top skills

  • Extensive experience in project/program planning and coordination (specifically related to server upgrade programs)
  • BILINGUAL - Communication and presentation skills, with experience in executive reporting (in both English and French)
  • Proficiency and experience in building and maintaining detailed program metrics

The Role

  • Responsible for assisting Project Manager(s) in coordinating, planning, communicating and executing the delivery of core project components.
  • Preparation of communications, progress reporting and meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Working with complex data in Excel tables.
  • Responsible for project scheduling, including action item tracking, financial updates and tracking, and filing and document management.

Qualifications

  • University: Bachelor in project management or similar field or Certificate
  • 5+ years experience in project planning, tracking, reporting and financial management
  • Demonstrated experience working in a professional environment support project management activities
  • Experience preparing and presenting communications to an executive audience
  • Possess excellent Microsoft application skills (Excel, Word, and Project).

Preferred qualifications

  • Professional certification: PMP, Scrum master, technical certification in server management or cybersecurity
  • Experience working in server Infrastructure and security environments
  • Ideal candidate - Previous experience in project and program management

Notes:

  • Possibility of contract extension
  • Work from home, then the work place will be at 160 Elgin St, Ottawa.
  • 37.5hr/week
  • Day to day - Will be responsible for the execution of a security program in a large and decentralized environment.
  • Working with multiple teams to achieve targets related to remediation of EOL servers.
  • Maintain and improve the program guidelines.
  • Help define the strategy, roadmap and yearly objectives.
  • Prepare communication and status for executives.
  • Operate: Day to day planning; tracking progress, budget, reports, etc.; and working with teams to drive progress.
  • Contractor is expected to be autonomous in his daily job after 4 weeks.
