We are looking for a person to develop and evolve a back-end application in data internship whose main activities will be:

- Understand the business issues, identify the technological needs of the stakeholders and propose solutions to support their activities

- Develop reliable and efficient ETL flows taking into account user needs and specifications, business imperatives and established deadlines

- Analyze change requests, evaluate impacts and make appropriate modifications

- Respond to complex requests from stakeholders and ensure the provision of solutions as well as their satisfaction through the quality of the services offered

More specifically, you will have to:

- Participate in the design and development of new data integration flows for our Datamart- Support the monthly capital ratio production cycle activities by being an expert in the associated system

- Identify, analyze and interpret information collected to explain variances and follow through to resolution

- With a strong propensity for action, work in close collaboration with our various partners to accelerate the resolution of variances

- Be proactive in identifying operational issues and recommending solutions

- Participate in the various testing phases throughout the development cycle

- Maintain existing applications in a continuous improvement perspective

- Standardize and evolve our work methods to improve our efficiency

- Respect the National Bank's development norms and standards

- Produce and update technical documentation

- Propose solutions that allow us to be more agile and efficient in our deployments

Profile required:

- At least 3 years experience in BI / ETL solution development.

- Advanced knowledge of Datastage (preferably 11.5) or equivalent ETL tool

- Knowledge of Agile development principles and DevOps concepts (an asset)

- Must be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for a short period of time, on a quarterly basis for level 2 support
