Day to day - Operate as a network / system architect in the Network IoT Connectivity domain. Explore, propose and implement solutions to address business needs (both internal and external customers). Work very closely with a cross functional team, both from a support and leadership perspective (i.e. driving solutions as well operating as an SME for solutions being driven by other teams).

The candidate will be the go-to technical subject-matter expert, for any and all business, enterprise and/or solution architecture consulting requirements as well as:
Launch products and releases on a regular basisDevelop and enhance new/existing architectures supporting the product.Identify technical opportunities and define technical vision and strategy.Understand customer needs and gather technical requirements.Facilitate deep technical discussions with engineers, customers, partners, and executives.Provide customer and market feedback to product and engineering teams to help define product direction.Provide domain expertise around enterprise and cloud technology, cellular connectivity platforms, and network architecture.Support Account Managers and Sales Engineering teams as needed through all phases of new customer engagement.Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog posts, architecture drawings, and presentations adapted to technical, business, and executive partnersMinimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.5 years of direct experience working with a variety of enterprise solutions, designing solutions, or developing business applications.Experienced with network automation, software development, API deployments and microservices in the context of SaaS solutions or with traditional enterprise solutions.Experience producing technical assets and writing technical documentation.Strong presentation skills as the subject matter expert.Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a broad range of audiences.Experience and knowledge of telecommunication/cellular network/call flowKnowledgeable in IP networks, TCP-IP stack, transport technologies, enterprise IT infrastructure, and RAN technologies, including architecture and design.Preferred qualifications:
MS degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, or equivalent work experience.7-10 years of network architect experience in a telecom or related industry.Enterprise, solution, or network architecture experience.Experience in the business technology market, and expertise working closely with sales and marketing teams in SaaS solutions or related technical fields.Experience in building automation and infrastructure monitoring.Understanding of the current state of infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, SQL/NoSQL, security, networking, and cloud-based delivery models.Technical knowledge and experience with automation and SW development/ coding, IoT ecosystems/ IoT platforms, cloud/virtualization platform. Experience with GCP, AWS or Azure an asset.Knowledge and experience working with CRM, fulfillment, assurance, and billing, and support areas like product catalog management, identity management, data analytics, etc.Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a broad range of audiences and working with IT and business primes to establish domain strategy.Hands-on experience in defining and influencing strategic roadmaps including requirements, capabilities, applications, data, and operations across various organizational platforms.Experience working with and designing B2B/B2C Systems, Information, Processes & Governance, to architect current and future modes of operation.Experience in Connected Cars, IoT, or 5G technology an asset.
