Description :

We are not looking for a Release manager who works alone. We are looking for a team player, someone who wants to learn as well as share, someone who loves Salesforce solutions, talks about them, lives them! Are you a Salesforce Release Manager? You will be part of the IT Delivery, CRM, Membership and Commercial Finance team, delivering in collaboration with the business lines. A team that understands the needs of our colleagues and uses all of their expertise to deliver innovative, secure and high quality solutions on the Salesforce platform!

Responsibilities :

- Deliver a portfolio of Salesforce projects and programs to achieve business outcomes on time and within budget

- Ensure effective coordination of project deployments, enhancements and maintenance changes to the platform, identifying dependencies in the roadmaps of the various applications

- Configure and manage application deployment schedules, taking into account dependencies and risks along the way, to ensure tactical elements related to delivery, integration and testing are ready by the target release date

- Develop and manage deployment checklists and release plan to ensure all critical tasks are completed on time

- Work with developers to properly resolve merge conflicts and deployment errors and meet code coverage criteria

- Identify deployment issues and perform root cause analysis to ensure that problem situations do not recur

- Analyze execution of documented activities and processes, identify problem areas; develop and deliver solutions to improve delivery processes and prevent future problems.

- Coordinate a team of professionals of approximately two to five people (integration coordinators, DevOps integrators) and the various matrix resources (developers, test managers)

As an ideal candidate, you meet the following criteria:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree related to the industry and several years of relevant experience

- Extensive knowledge of project and program management (especially risk and issue management)

- Extensive knowledge of the Salesforce platform and its ecosystem

- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) domains, DevOps principles and Agile methodology

- Knowledge of specific DevOps tools and practices such as: source code management (Git-Bitbucket), continuous integration servers (Jenkins using pipeline as a code concept), continuous release (Groovy, Ant), artifact management (Nexus), provisioning (Docker), acceptance test driven development (ATDD) methodology, and data loading tools like Salesforce Data Loader

- Ability to understand the release schedule and its impact on business case metrics

- Ability to monitor and control progress against the action plan

- Experience in managing people

- Leadership acumen, effective communication and demonstrated ability to influence senior management

- Salesforce certifications and Trailhead path
