Description

As a Specialist, Automation and Security Application, part of the SOC team, you will have the opportunity to work on automatically deploying vulnerability scanners, managing security tools and developing applications to support the latest vulnerability assessment technologies. You will support our efforts to deploy and maintain critical infrastructure for our internal customers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop, optimize and support various security related software and applications in an agile team.

Responsibilities

Work with an agile team to deploy, test, and maintain VA-Infra supporting software

Maintain and improve the performance of existing software

Participate in the Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD) cycle

SME on scanner deployment projects with multiple business units of Bell Canada

Resolve security operational problems in timely fashion, handle escalated issues and follow up on outstanding items promptly

Develop preventive measures and build documentation

Contribute to project meeting and report on issue status

Key Technical Competencies

Solid expertise in Linux system admin (CentOS, Ubuntu…) and virtualization (VMWare and container technologies…)

Solid expertise in automation solution (Ansible) and working knowledge of Ansible Tower

Deep knowledge of Zabbix, Proxmox, iLO (HP Oneview) and hardware specs

Intermediate and working knowledge of Information Security and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, proxy, Firewall) in medium or large environment

Working knowledge of programming/scripting and the development tools (Python, API, Jenkins, Gitlab)

Knowledge of asset management (IPAM), and logging techs (Graylog, Kibana)

CISSP and related certificates are assets, as well as bilingual (English and French)
