The client has been undergoing construction of its new headquarters since spring 2019. The building was designed to meet the world's highest standards for sustainable construction, integrative design, and occupant health and wellness. Our ambition is to build a smart, connected, energy-efficient tower representing the most exciting place to work in Canada. The building's unique design will emphasize collaborative, modern, bright and technological spaces. It will be in line with the collaborative spaces already adopted by the institution.

The client's new head office is located in the heart of Montreal's Innovation District and will be connected to the Montreal Underground (RÉSO). This marks the return of the client's head office to St. Jacques Street.

The design of 800 Saint-Jacques and its guiding principles put constraints on certain current IT needs, which led the organization to look at the evolution of these needs in order to prepare for a smooth transition during the move and ensure a distinctive employee experience.

The successful candidate will be involved in setting up the client's audio-visual facilities in their laboratory in preparation for the facilities that will be required in the client's new head office located at 800 St-Jacques. Hybrid conference rooms and dynamic display capabilities will be deployed.

Your role:

Understand the client's orientations and the strategy it intends to implement to support hybrid work

Complete the implementation of the technological facilities that will be used to perform the tests required for the development of a call for tenders

Diagnose problematic situations, intervene and get involved in the resolution of complex problems by ensuring the implementation of solutions

Understand and interact with experts in networking, security and Active Directory in order to resolve audiovisual integration issuesContribute, through your expertise, the development of the call for tenders

Continue to explore audiovisual technologies, establish links with suppliers and produce recommendations

Participate in the planning and installation of equipment to be used in the new tower

Carry out the follow-ups related to your mandate

Document findings, problems and solutions

Prepare and share the transfer of knowledge to the permanent resource who will join the team

Ideal profile:

Completed DEC, related to the activity sector and 5 years of relevant experience

At least 5 years of experience in the field of audio-visual in a large company, including the deployment of Microsoft Teams Room, Crestron and other technologies that can meet the client's needs

Knowledge of networking and security that will allow you to target possible reasons for certain operational problems

Expertise in the deployment of dynamic display solutions

Knowledge of Exchange and Active Directory is an asset
