IMPORTANT

Work from home for now. Later on 2-3 days a week in the office (when: tbd)

Hours per week 37.5H/ day-to-day basis.

Improve RAN Performance (5G, LTE, WTTP) in one client's region (Ontario and West Canada).

Focus on sites and clusters acceptance for vendor

Swap from Huawei to Ericsson

Top 3 functions

  • Weekly performance management
  • troubleshooting network issue
  • Customer complaints assessment and resolution
  • 6 month deliverable - Working on Single site approval for all sites being swap and support cluster acceptance. Build a strong relationship with Ericsson

    Top skill sets

  • Strong understanding of 5G and LTE end to end with in-depth technical expertise with primarily Ericsson Vendor (and Nokia)
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead complex performance investigations with other technical teams
  • Performance investigation with other technical teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
  • Qualifications -

  • University degree or Diploma in Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in RAN Performance with understanding of RAN KPIs and Network counters.
  • Working with Ericsson RAN vendor in the last 2yrs.
  • Ideal candidate -

  • Very responsive, be able to engage rights stakeholders to understand and work on network issues.
  • Excellent communication skills that help to explain complex issues to wider audience.
  • Testing in interviews - Behavioral and technical type of questions

    FT hire - This could be a possibility if the person is highly talented individual and is able demonstrate this during the contract.

  • Support a regional team of wireless network performance experts with accountability to deliver and maintain the best network.
  • Strong understanding of 5G and LTE end to end with in-depth expertise Ericsson vendors (and Nokia) on both FDD and TDD technologies.
  • Experience with 5G NSA/SA deployments from global markets with a focus of improving the performance and user experience with in-depth understanding of features and parameters.
  • Ability to analyze internal eNB/gNB, UE logs for quick troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Highly autonomous, self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Demonstrated abilities to lead efficiently Performance investigation with other technical teams.
  • Strong data analytics and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal), interpersonal and decision-making skills are required.
  • Identify and implement automation and continuous improvement solutions.
  • Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for position in Quebec.
