Day to day -

  • The contractor will be responsible to run and prepare collaboration sessions with our brand partners to define experiment ideas and through analysis, and they will run and evaluate the experiment results of those experiments across the bell media ecosystem, and provide those results as well as recommendations summaries to various teams.
  • They will also be responsible for providing the technical support required to implement Optimizely web and full stack onto new platforms.

  • Run experiments in Optimizely web and full stack
  • Manage implementation of Optimizely web and full stack across brands
  • Own experiment backlogs, evaluate experiment results, and run collaboration sessions to generate ideas
  • Deliverable in the first 6 months -

  • Run with existing experiments on the timeline
  • Create and run new experiments in collaboration with the brand teams
  • Support the implementation of the experimentation platform
  • 3 top skill sets -

  • Experience running an experimentation program for product and digital (not marketing),
  • Knowledge and understanding of Optimizely and best practices
  • Knowledge of development and implementation of Optimizely, background as a developer a large plus
  • Qualifications -

  • Knowledge of Optimizely platform web and full stack,
  • Knowledge of implementation of optmizely platform on digital properties, web and full stack ,
  • Experience running experiments for products and on marketing landing pages (conversion rate optimization)
  • Ideal candidate -

  • Knowledge of statistics, having worked as a developer or experienced writing html and experience at multiple companies running an experimentation program, end to end. (Someone that performed in this role previously, etc.)
  • Testing in interviews - Experimentation knowledge will be tested as well as Optimizely and development knldge

    Objectives

    As the Experimentation lead for digital Platforms, you have in-depth experience working in Product within a large-scale company, with A/B and Multivariate Testing platforms such as Optimizely, Adobe Target or in-house built platforms. You have a solid understanding of data and analytics, experimentation, statistics, user experiences and best practices in workflows from ideation/demand, requirement definition, to final delivery.

    You are self-directed, operationally minded, and motivated, with strong analytical, data mining, project management, and influencing skills. You have a knack for understanding application interfaces, acquisition, user journeys and engagement from a user’s perspective, as well as being able to clearly articulate requirements to development and product management partners.

    Key responsibilities

  • Work with business partners, other product managers, developers and engineering to gather functional and technical requirements around MVT and A/B Testing.
  • Drive experiment hypotheses through analysis, using CRO and up-to-date tactics to improve every aspect of the product
  • Translate requirements into generic testing platform capabilities that are extensible to all projects and channels.
  • Drive detailed requirement definitions intended for the development engineering teams.
  • Partner with other product management, business and optimization teams to communicate project status, resolve issues, and ensure that high quality experiments are delivered on time.
  • Understand and discuss technical concepts and handle trade-offs with internal business and engineering partners.
  • Collaborate with business and product teams, deep dive into the data and develop analytics, reporting or dashboards.
  • Collaborate on a continuous basis with other product management track owners, analyze impact of upcoming new features, identify requirements and include these in the product roadmap.
  • Consult in the development of launch plans, ensure detailed planning of deliverables.
  • Identify and drive business process changes needed to support new products once released into production.
  • Be an advocate and evangelist MVT and A/B Testing, standard methodologies and opportunities.
  • Be responsible for identifying and leading platform and business process re-engineering opportunities.
  • Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of hands-on in building or working on A/B and Multivariate Testing Platforms and digital analytics
  • Experience with cloud based applications.
  • Strong technical foundation in Data Management (SQL for querying) and Analytics (front end products such as GA, Adobe Analytics, Looker, DMPs and Others)
  • Background or experience with Product Growth and related strategies
  • Demonstrated success in business process improvement/re-engineering.
  • Effectively able to communicate to a global audience and to management.
  • Ambitious and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment where ambiguity and short turnaround schedules are the norm.
  • Exhibits high degree of ownership and accountability.
  • Start-up/ambitious experience.
  • Engineering background a plus.
