At Client’s Smart Home IT (BSH-IT) is a team within the Information Technology organization. Their mandate is to support the BSH business. We require a highly motivated, creative and disciplined problem solver who thrives in an evolving and constantly changing environment. This role provides great opportunity for exposure across many IT and Business Unit teams as well as varying levels of management, up to and including IT VP.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
The successful candidate will be accountable for the following:
BSH-IT Team Support:Responsible for task intake and coordination for the IT team and alignment of technology solutions with business strategies. Coordinate all stages of the business solution life cycle, including, but not limited to, gathering requirements, clarification/translation of tasks, and documentation of the design process, resource management, and delivery.Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; and effectively communicate issues, actively engage, influence, and work collaboratively as a team memberProject Management: Develop the scope and manage the planning, implementation and delivery of IT team projects to meet client/business requirementsManage project teams to deliver project on-time and on-budgetProvide reports on the project status, maintain an issue log and project planMaintain documentationDocument system requirements (SRS/BRD) for business processes.Iterative review of current processes and recommendations for improvementsBe a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and act as a lead prime within the team for quality assurance processes including user acceptance testing (UAT).Manage project documentation and handover to business and IT support.Security, Vulnerabilities, and Updates: Act as a point person for IT Corporate Security, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to IT security policies.Regular review of scanning results to identify, assign, and update vulnerability remediation by working closely with the IT team. Support IT team with the MACD process of sites and servicesRequired Skills / Competencies:
3-5 years of Business Analysis experience in IT industriesIT Project Management experienceStrong analytical thinking, experience analyzing end-user requirements, performing analysis, and developing solution specificationsExperience of data governance, change managementExcellent communication (both verbal and written), and relationship skills, especially the ability to articulate advanced technical topics and build consensus among business and technical constituents – experience preparing and delivering management presentations and reportsPreferred Qualifications/Competencies:
Undergraduate Degree – Business/Computer Science is idealBilingualism is an asset (English and French)
