Job Description:

In pursuit of its technological transformation, the Bank has initiated the migration of its applications to the Cloud. We are looking for a collaborative and dynamic DevOps developer to contribute to this.

Thus, as a member of our development team, you will contribute to our various current and future products:

  • Cloud infrastructure deployment and maintenance
  • Development and integration of data transformation
  • Implementation and evolution of DevOps pipelines
  • Implementation of automated GitOps processes
  • Use of generic build tools to standardize pipelines
  • Connecting to multiple data sources

What about day to day?

  • Act as a consultant to develop and support the micro-service already in place
  • Participate in data architecture, development, testing, deployment and delivery of data streams from third party services, data warehouses or systems
  • Ensure the maintenance of the operational backup (Disaster Recovery)
  • Be part of a multidisciplinary Agile / Scrum team
  • Share new ideas and learn from other team members
  • Play a coaching role with colleagues who are less experienced with DevOps

Your responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the migration of 2 assets (on premise to AWS Cloud)
  • Develop in Python on the different code repositories
  • Contribute to the adoption of the various Cloud & DevOps tools available at the bank, through the development of generic tools or direct contributions to other teams' code.
  • Be creative in order to bring new ideas that can be turned into features or products.
  • Document and communicate information to ensure sustainability.

Minimum Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in Python or equivalent language
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including programming standards, code review, source code management, and testing
  • Good experience with creating, operating and maintaining APIs
  • Ability to work independently on tasks and deliver high quality work
  • Ability to work in a team environment and be open to comments and feedback
  • Very good ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment
  • Excellent communication and outreach skills, both oral and written
  • Bilingual (spoken/written) French and English

Additional skills:

  • Good knowledge of Cloud infrastructure
  • Interest in software and information security
  • Knowledge of good security practices
  • Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, SQL, JQL, JSON
  • Knowledge of continuous integration & deployment
  • Database management
  • Experience with Azure Data Warehouse
  • Experience with Azure SQL Database
  • Knowledge of Power BI
