CTC006819 : Project Manager Intermediate Tech

Position Description

IMPORTANT

  • Project Manager need have experience running Agile projects and leveraging the Scaled Agile Framework.
  • The client is transitioning to the Scaled Agile framework as such experience would be very valuable.
  • Lastly in terms of tooling the client leverages Jira and Confluence as our project management tools so it would be valuable for the candidate to have experience with those tools.
  • 37.5hrs per week, hour team operates in a hybrid mode, two days in office three days at home

Top functions -

  • Managing project scrum teams
  • communicating status: blocker/success upwards and across teams.
  • Coaching team members on project delivery levering the Scaled Agile Framework for delivery.

First 6 month deliverable - Setup the management system, and framework for delivering a key program at client

Top skills -

  • Excellent communication skills (Oral, written, presentation).
  • Experience delivery Agile projects and with SAFe
  • Jira and Confluence experience as this tools is used extensively in client project delivery

  • Qualifications - SAFe, Agile and/or PMP would be beneficial
  • Ideal candidate - Candidate should have experience delivering projects use SAFe and or Agile Scrum. The candidate ideally would have worked in Digital or media space and have 5+ year experience delivering projects.
  • Interviews - Presentation of a scenario where they are giving a project update or kick off of a new project to stakeholders.
  • What problem are they trying to solve? Value to the business, key challenges etc…. This should be based on something they’ve done over the last two year. Only successful candidate on the second interview will do this.

  • Responsible for managing all aspects of the project management life cycle including project scoping, resource assignment, project plan development, project tracking, monitoring and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain all project documentation (Project Plan, Issue and Action Logs, Risk Management, Communication Plan, Status Reports, ...etc.).
  • Maintain the Project Management Office Library with lessons learned database, and apply lessons learned to all initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of templates, procedures and processes as part of the continuous improvement process.

Qualifications include:

  • Demonstrated experience in project management delivering project solutions;
  • Experience in managing multiple projects at a time;
  • Expert in using MS Suite including Microsoft Project;
  • Knowledge of proven industry best practices and standards;
  • and Project Management designation an asset but not required.
