Introduction:

CTC is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team as we prepare our response to a crucial RFP. This role is essential for ensuring the optimal configuration, management, and operation of database systems which are fundamental to the success of our proposed solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of database systems, ensuring adherence to best practices and project specifications.
  • Manage database deployment environments, including documentation and operational maintenance.
  • Support the development, implementation, and operation of software solutions, focusing on both high-availability and standard environments.
  • Maintain continuous performance, integrity, and reliability of databases, ensuring systems are optimized for operations.
  • Stay informed about current market trends and advances in IT systems and technology, particularly in database management and cloud computing.
  • Provide technical support for database environments, including troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.

  • Requirements:

  • A diploma of college studies in Computer Science or a related field.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in database architecture, installation, configuration, and deployment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server database management systems.
  • Experience with cloud computing environments is considered a strong asset.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage projects independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to work on complex projects in a dynamic environment.
