Introduction:

CTC is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team as we prepare our response to a crucial RFP. This role is essential for ensuring the optimal configuration, management, and operation of database systems which are fundamental to the success of our proposed solutions. If you have a solid background in database architecture and are adept at navigating complex IT environments, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of database systems, ensuring adherence to best practices and project specifications.

Manage database deployment environments, including documentation and operational maintenance.

Support the development, implementation, and operation of software solutions, focusing on both high-availability and standard environments.

Maintain continuous performance, integrity, and reliability of databases, ensuring systems are optimized for operations.

Stay informed about current market trends and advances in IT systems and technology, particularly in database management and cloud computing.

Provide technical support for database environments, including troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.

Requirements:

A diploma of college studies in Computer Science or a related field.

A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in database architecture, installation, configuration, and deployment.

Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server database management systems.

Experience with cloud computing environments is considered a strong asset.

Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage projects independently.

Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to work on complex projects in a dynamic environment.
