From 1 to 5 years of experience. Trainer who, in the context of a specific team and activity, has less experience with the particular subject, methodology, or work context.

The junior technical trainer is expected to provide training to users of various systems, applications, and processes to support the achievement of business objectives, and to support the work of more experienced trainers. While training documentation is typically provided, may be required to assist in the creation of documentation. Works under the direction of a lead trainer, project manager, or systems integrator.


NOTES:

  • Work 2-3 days per week in their main office (on average) and the rest of the time at home.
  • Hours per week - 37.5hrs/week
  • Hold weekly virtual training sessions for newly hired small business agents (Monday through Friday).
  • The contact may also be called upon to create simple job aids and provide relevant feedback on training content as needed.

  • Primary Duties

  • Manage all logistics related to training activities and events
  • Facilitate virtual training sessions (EN &FR) Maintain current knowledge of small business products and services, systems and processes on an ongoing basis.
  • The contractor will be evaluated based on a new hire satisfaction survey.
  • Evaluation of leader/peer to peer observation - overall average score of 90% and above.
  • Maintain and improve performance based on leader and/or peer feedback.

  • Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to engage adult audiences, clearly present content to meet learning objectives.
  • Customer oriented, creative in problem solving and able to work independently to solve problems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must speak French, English is recommended

  • Previous sales experience is ideal

    Interview - 5 minute presentation by the potential candidate on one of the 5 stages of the sales cycle (Intro/Probe/Propose/Close/Objection handling).
