Remote work: Until further notice, candidates in the Montreal area are given priority.

Your main challenges :

Understand business issues, identify and analyze customer and business partner needs, document requests and prepare recommendations to design or adapt systems that meet needs and facilitate decision making

Perform a variety of complex analyses, identify gaps and make recommendations to optimize system effectiveness and resolve significant issues

Analyze system change requests, assess impacts on existing applications, suggest and implement appropriate modifications.

Collaborate in the establishment of validation and quality control procedures, according to established development standards.

Provide support to respond to user requests or problems affecting existing applications

Advise and guide the development team and the product owner by recommending different functional alternatives aligned with the architecture

More specifically, you will :

Participate in various project activities

Produce or participate in the realization of new needs assessments (projects and evolutionary requests)

Produce functional analyses

Collaborate in testing (test plan and test sets, test execution and verification).

Take note of processes and propose improvements

Participate in the updating of the documentation

Respect the architecture targets

As needed, supervise other resources in the context of the realization of projects or evolutionary requests.

Collaborate on the feasibility/detailed design of the solution

Profile:

Have an undergraduate degree in computer science or a field deemed relevant

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

Experience in the banking and/or financial industry desirable

Knowledge of OpenAPI/WSDL

Understanding of json and xml formats

Proficiency in Ms Office suite and collaboration tools

Knowledge of Agile methodology and DevOps

Knowledge of JIRA/Tempo/Confluence
