JOB DESCRIPTION :
The Business Analyst is responsible for the delivery of projects for the customer's informational digital solutions. The Business Analyst works primarily with project managers, project sponsors, functional analysts, developers and business experts. In collaboration with these various players, he/she must ensure the deployment of solutions that meet identified needs and objectives, while maximizing the value generated.
The Business Analyst is responsible for helping business partners define all the requirements linked to the project(s) they wish to carry out, set up the product backlog and prioritize it during implementation activities. He or she must develop a thorough understanding of all business requirements, so as to be able to answer questions from the organization's multiple players, in particular functional analysts and developers. Finally, he/she is responsible for the scope and activities related to its evolution during implementation.
The Business Analyst is frequently called upon to solve complex problems. These require analytical and cross-organizational skills. They interact with a large number of stakeholders working in a variety of fields of expertise. They must be able to manage the various stakeholders with care. Mastery of interpersonal relations and the ability to engage employees are essential skills for him.
GENERAL DUTIES :

Accompany business partners in their Agile project management maturity by coaching them in the definition, management and prioritization of the backlog as well as its involvement in the Agile value delivery process.

Participate in defining project vision, orientations and objectives: Participation in the demand management committee, gating process, business case development and initial project strategy.

Continuous backlog monitoring: Define and maintain the updated and prioritized product backlog.

Ensure that functional analysts understand the product backlog, enabling them to document technical requirements for development teams.

Continuously define, circumscribe and adapt the scope and delivery strategy (releases) according to the evolution of the business context and the objectives pursued.

Act as a reference for developers and analysts on all matters relating to business needs.

Collaborate with the project manager on a multitude of aspects to ensure the alignment of scope elements with planning elements: project plan and roll out, budgets, definition of approaches, risk identification and mitigation, issue resolution, communication, change management.

Active participation in the project committee and the project steering committee, as well as any other recurring meetings required for the smooth running of the project (e.g. weekly miscellaneous).

Active participation in agile ceremonies required for project completion.

Work closely with key stakeholders: project managers, user experience and interface specialists, writers, translators, developers, functional analysts and integrators.

Mobilize collaborators and demonstrate exemplary interpersonal skills.
DESIRED SKILLS

IMP: Must have a finance background with FM training that includes accounting terminology and concepts, understanding of financial instruments and their transactional process flow in operational terms in a ledger.

Expertise in informational web context and digital marketing technologies.

Knowledge of Scrum methodology. PSPO certification (an asset).
