Work Location – Calgary (other Canadian cities are ok like Ottawa, Toronto, Mississauga, Montreal, etc)

Hybrid work - Tuesday/Thursday in-office

Netcracker application experience would be an asset

Will the developer be using both Node/JavaScript and Java equally ? Nodejs would be used more often.

Qualifications

7+ years Software Development Experience

3+ years Java & NodeJS

1+ years SQL & HTML5

Application Integration Experience (API’s, Endpoints, etc)

Experience in a medium to large telecom organization

AWS Server Infrastructure Knowledge

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

Writing clean, high-quality maintainable code

Create and implement new software concepts and designs

Develop and support applications including integration and enhancements

Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs

Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics

Maintaining and upgrading existing systems

Training users

Working closely with other developers, business analysts, designers, quality assurance and testers to ensure business objectives and requirements are met

Mentoring other team members to foster teamwork and shared ownership
