Description

Location: 90% Remote, 10% On-site in Quebec City, QC
Responsibilities:

• Review project-related documentation (specifications, gaps, updates, processes, etc.).

• Analyze user needs and document functional/technical specifications (general to detailed).

• Perform reverse engineering to trace data flows across systems.

• Interpret PL/SQL, Transact-SQL, and XML code.

• Navigate and document data flows in Oracle, SQLServer, or PostgreSQL.

• Analyze system integrations and design mediation routes (Talend ESB), APIs, and ETLs.

• Develop test strategies, create test plans, and participate in test execution.

• Advise and recommend alternative solutions aligned with IT architecture and orientations.

• Adhere to documentation standards and produce system sustainability deliverables.

Deliverables:

• Data schemas.

• Functional study files.

• Functional test plans.

• Other relevant documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• DEC in computer science or Bachelor’s in software engineering or IT.

• At least 15 years of experience in IT.

• At least 10 years of experience in functional analysis, including system integration.

• At least 5 years of experience in software development or database development/administration.

• Knowledge of SQL and database conceptualization.

• Basic knowledge of Talend ESB and ETL.

• Familiarity with AOS, microservices, and APIs.

• Proficient in French (spoken and written).

• Availability for on-site meetings/workshops (approximately 10% of the time).

• Leadership skills, professionalism, and strong interpersonal communication.

• Rigorous, dynamic, curious, agile, and team-oriented.

• Experience with Talend ESB (an asset).
