Description
Reporting to the Senior Architect, the incumbent of this position is a System – Support role whose primary role will be to perform day to day system support. The incumbent will administer and maintain databases and other infrastructure platform components in support of application development teams and to ensure the smooth and efficient running of production applications.
The candidate should possess the ability to think both logically and analytically and perform well under pressure. The candidate must have knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Server operating systems is also an asset. This position is located in Ottawa.
Main accountabilities

Day to day support on existing application

Ability to work on minor enhancements within the various application, which is supported by the following skills -
Skills / competencies:
-
Undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent training and experience.

Excellent understanding of SAP ERP /Hana Cloud
-
8-10 years of experience in the SAP domain including numerous years of experience of hands on functional transactions with in the FI/CO PS SD domains
-
Strong understanding transactional accounting systems
-
Database level experience extracting data from Enterprise Systems ERP such as SAP
-
Experience working with relational databases SQL ,MYSQL
-
Experience with connection functionally to SAP i.e. BAPI ETL (Hana API’s)
-
Technical skills such as SQL , C#, .Net Java, Angular Js are required
-
Experience in agile environment is desirable.
Good communications skills (written, oral) is required. Bilingualism (English, French) considered an asset.
