Mobile worker – in office Tues and Weds per week.

Hours per week 37.5

Day-to-day basis. Id be restating the job description – creating/launching LD programs, managing programs and providing analytics, and consulting with stakeholders etc.

We are launching a new Learning and Leadership Dev strategy so elements supporting that, we have a ROI for learning pilot, and a new assessment strategy that we need to deliver on.

Skill sets - leadership and career development program design, development, execution and ROI analysis, presentation and communication skills should be highly developed. Experience managing multiple priorities and managing time appropriately to meet deadlines.

Qualifications - 5+ years, large enterprise experience

Interviews - Will ask for recent OD trend and highlights and to provide a short presentation on findings and recommendations.

Potential to hire full time - Depends on business need and performance

The Role:

The Talent Management team is part of the Organizational Development practice and is responsible for developing and implementing corporate-wide Human Resources programs and initiatives that drive effectiveness and business impact.

As part of the Talent Management team, the Consultant, Talent Management leads career development programs that support leaders. The successful candidate needs to be passionate about leadership and career development programs and practices, has strong analytical and technical skills and is an excellent project manager. To be successful in this role you will need to have strong project management skills as well as communication and collaboration skills to build relationships at various levels in the organization.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end program design, deployment and delivery for the career development strategy and support the Leadership Development Pathway programs
  • Liaise with HR Consultants to support them to cascade Career and Leadership Development programs to their clients
  • Provide a consistent process to enable HR to identify the root cause for learning and programing needs by conducting Needs Analysis and focus groups with clients for any customized or intact learning solutions requested.
  • Lead the engagement and partnership with vendors, source learning solutions and create and execute vendor contracts
  • Perform data analysis, create reports and dashboards as well as formulate recommendations for program enhancements.
  • Validate return on investment (ROI) and audit vendor learning solutions to meet organizational needs.
  • Facilitate training sessions
  • Critical Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, HR, or Adult learning and a minimum of 3 years in HRLO or OD with experience focused on Talent Management, preferably with a leadership and career development focus
  • Experience with instructional design and learning curation
  • An understanding of leadership competency/capability development best practices
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to design processes and methods to minimize errors
  • Strong, proven critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage a number of concurrent projects with tight deadlines
  • Strong focus on external talent management trends and leading practices and how it relates to the business
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and programs autonomously, including benchmarking research internally and externally, networking with thought leaders and presenting to internal and external clients
  • Ability to develop strong trusting relationships and credibility across HR and the business
  • Bilingual (French and English oral and written) is an asset
