Job Description:

The consultant will primarily work with SAP HR – PT, OM, and PA modules in a hybrid ECC6 and SuccessFactors EC (EP) environment. They will analyze, configure, and optimize SAP solutions related to time management and payroll while supporting the transition to SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve incidents, problems, and change requests.

  • Recommend best practices and propose optimal solutions.

  • Gather and analyze business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

  • Participate in planning and estimating efforts for activities and deliverables.

  • Actively engage in workshops to design tailored solutions.

  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

  • Configure the system for OM, PA, and PT (TIMEEVAL) modules, including PT schema modifications.

  • Document configurations and technical specifications.

  • Develop, execute, and document test cases.

  • Participate in module upgrades and patches for SAP HR-PT-PY.

  • Provide expertise and support to team members and end users.


Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in IT or management (or equivalent experience).

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.

  • 5-8 years of experience in SAP HR-PT analysis and configuration (HCM ECC6 and SuccessFactors EC-EP).

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with 3 or more of the following modules: PT (TIMEEVAL), PT, CATS, PA, PA-BEN, OM.

  • Expertise in configuring time management modules, including PT schema (TIMEEVAL) modifications.

  • SAP certification in at least one module (mandatory).

  • Knowledge of Spinifex (nice to have).

  • 1-2 SAP S/4HANA project participations (nice to have).

  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (nice to have).

  • Dual expertise in IT and business domains.

  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and leadership.

  • Experience in solving complex problems and optimizing solutions.

  • Strong teamwork and client-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

  • Excellent writing skills.

  • Fluency in French (spoken and written) is mandatory; functional English is recommended.


Specific Details:

  • 100% remote, with possible occasional travel to Montreal for critical technical issues.

  • Work within the Eastern Canada (EST) time zone.

  • Hybrid SAP HCM ECC6 and SuccessFactors EC-EP environment.

  • Modifications impacting collective agreements, bonuses, benefits, PY/PT schemas.

  • Transition between ECC and S/4HANA/SuccessFactors with support pack updates and calendar maintenance.
